Quality Replacement with Some Modification
High quality OEM Gurtner carburetor, however it took some work to get this to work on a Motobecane model 7. The air filter box that was included was too large - which I kind of expected. That said, the holes in the original air filter box did not line up with the holes on the carburetor which were already threaded. So, I had to use a tap on one of the unthreaded holes to make it work. The hole size on the carburetor was bigger than on the original carburetor, so I had to drill the original air filter box holes bigger to match. Along with switching over the components on the throttle/choke cables which would not fit this carb, this was pretty involved for what I was hoping to be a more direct replacement. However, the moped runs perfectly now and I'm overall really happy with the quality of the part.
